Happiness is a state of mind..attitude towards life.. it is the inner strength which has to be cultivated.. ethics can not be taught it has to be cultivated , sharpened and exercised.. so become an agriculturist and cultivate ethics and we shall find inner strength and will be happy.. my truth is mine may not be others

CAN SPITTING HAVE REMEDIES AND SOLUTIONS?
The state government of Delhi should wake up from its long slumber and do something for the city. Enough is enough. We are preparing to host the commonwealth games next October 2010 and the city is not even clean. I live in Civil Lines in Indraprastha College and go for a morning walk to kudasia Garden near Kashmere Gate. Walking on the long stretch of pavement from IP to kudasia Garden, I have observed the whole pavement littred with paan spits all over, early morning it is not a very happy sight , rather it sends a very bad sensation all over. This sight has forced me to think that what should be done?

These are the real pictures taken by me on the road from IP College to Kudasia Garden ..My morning walk assignment
I feel like sending a piece of my mind to Mrs. Sheila Dixit that she should do something about it. I am not suggesting that people should stop eating paan or stop chewing what they like to chew , i have no right to do so, as i believe that every individual ha a freedom to eat , drink and chew , what ever they want, but as a responsible citizen of our society I have the right to live in a clean atmosphere and breathe fresh air. Also I understand and want every one to think that along with rights comes the onus of performing ones duties also. But some of us in the society do only talk and exercise our rights and forget our duties. The new Metro came to our city , it was a revolution for Delhi commuters to get such facility , and imagine in one day it was open to the public it was painted red with Kattha..the red in the Paan..it was a sad sight.
Why cant we leave the walls of the monuments, new buildings, cinema halls, roads and the train compartments free of spits and also free of writing names that 'so and so loves so', making hearts and arrows , it will be better if the so called lovers use some other base to write all this---- like paper, boards and on what ever is write able and present to there loved ones..wont that be a better idea friends then writing on walls. I am mentioning this point in my write up about spitting as i feel the two are somehow interconnectedie spoiling public places.
To remind the citizens of Delhi, who do not leave any stone unturned to ruin the cleanliness of the city some measures and remedies should be taken up by the MCD and other civic bodies in the city.
One remedy which comes to my mind is that there should be open wooden boxes painted green and filled with sand should be placed all over the city where they can be placed with captions in Hindi and English saying 'Sirf yahan thukna mana nahi hai' or ' please spit here only'.also the city can implement some fines for spitting, like there is in Singapore. Recently in September w.e.f from 26 September a fine of Rs 1000 has been implemented in Pune for any one found spitting.
But my concern is that why we all need compulsions, fines , force to do our duties? Why cant we realize it ourselves? But as we are, I think to have a clean environment we should put restrictions and let force be implemented.

Pratiksha
sara jeevan insaan ka beet jata hai pratiksha mein,
bachpan mein bade hone ki pratiksha ,
kabhi kisi vastu ko pane ki pratiksha ,
kabhi sapne poore hone ki pratiksha,
kabhi sab vo paa jane ki pratiksha jo chahata hai insaan,
bas pratiksha hi pratiksha,
raat ko subha hone ki , subaha ko shaam hone ki shaam ko phir raat hone ki,
aur is pratiksha ke chakra mein ghumta insaan beeta deta hai sara jeevan,
jab jeevan vyatit hota jata hai pratishayein kya kam hoti hain...
shayaad nahi...
ankhon ki palko par , bas rahti hai sirf aur sirf EK PRATIKSHA,
par agar kisi din ho gayi pratikshain samapta . to kya jeevan jiya ja sakega
shayad nahi..
karte raho pratiksha ..shaayad kabhi samapta ho jai yeh hamari pratiksha...

Chehra
ek chehra ubharta hai
bar bar, ghar ki diwar ke piche se,pedh ki tahniyonke piche se
dayen se kabhi bayein se
kabhi shayad hatta hi nahi
ankon se , smritipatal se
kya hai wo chehra? kiska hai?
is se kya farak padta hai
chehra avyakta sa, chehra shanta sa.na jane kya kahne ki koshish mein
samajh nahi pati
kuch agrah karta, kabhi kuch sthapit karta
par kya? samajh pati nahi
kya hua meri samajh ko, kho gayi kahin
us samajh ko dhoond rahi hun usi chehre mein

Soach
sabdon mein bandh dete hain jab apni soach ko hum,
to kya kam ho jati hai us soach ki ahmiyat?
kya kisi kisi soach ko sabdon mein na bandhana hi sahi hai?
par prashna yeh uthta hai
sabdon mein bandhe bina kya ho sakti hai abhivyakti?
shaayad nahi..
maine abhi kya kiya?
soach ko apni bandh diya sabdon mein...

SPITTING IS COMMON IN INDIA AND THE WEST--
In India specially in North India and i am talking mainly of Delhi spitting is common and has become a problem.Visit a new building specially government buildings. Within two days of the building is brought to use it gets decorated with paan spits on the walls. The sight is yuck ..even the railings where one takes support to climb the floors are covered with spits that one does not like to even keep ones hand there

.
I walk on the road , all pavements, walls of houses and buildings are covered by spits. Well I know spitting is a habit , and habit die hard, but the question is that at least people should try to control and if spitting is essential then one should use the right place to spit. I see people spitting right under the NO SPITTING sign
This spitting phenomenon is more common in the males. They eat paan, chew paan masala and tobacco and thus arises the need to spit.
On the roads i have seen people traveling or driving just open the car door or window and just spit on the road. I do understand the urgency of spitting but then there our other human needs which are uncontrollable and urgent but all human beings (accept babies and small children)control it and right place is used. So spitting is also a dirty habit and people should control and not dirty the public spaces. Spits marks all over in Delhi leave a very dirty feeling in us. Why our we insensitive to other people, our city and our country? Why cant everyone from a rickshaw wala to someone in the car understand that it is we who have to keep our city clean. Also spitting all over can lead to certain diseases like tuberculosis and also H1N1.When will we understand and keep our environment clean and fresh---
In Western Europe since the Middle Ages frequent spitting was part of everyday life, and at all levels of society, it was thought ill-mannered to suck back saliva to avoid spitting. By the early 1700s, spitting was seen as something which should be concealed, and by 1859 many viewed the spitting on the floor or street as vulgar, especially in mixed company. Spittoons were used openly during the nineteenth century to provide an acceptable outlet for spitters. Today in the western countries no one spits on the road, even we Indians when travel abroad neither spit nor thhrow garbage on the roads after eating, which is common sight in India specially North. Cities in South India are cleaner than North India . We all are Indians , We all are human beings , why do we behave so differently specially in cases of thinking about our environment. It is a question of great moral concern, we have to change, we have to take steps. If we all try we can why not start the effort...

UNCONTROLABLE SPIT
SPITTING IN BABIES
Spitting happens from the time one is born.
Babies spit all the time , when they eat or swallow, drink milk and burp.It can also happen when your baby is drooling. Babies usually don't notice when they spit.sometimes they vomit also due to eating more and they can not digest. while vomiting is forceful and painful. Spitting up is a common occurrence for most babies until about the time they can eat solid foods (usually around 6 months to 1 year of age).

The medical term for "spitting up" is gastroesophageal reflux, or reflux. It happens when milk or solid food in the stomach comes back up into your baby's esophagus (the esophagus is the tube that joins the mouth and the stomach). When we sees babies spitting ,your own or others one does not feel bad or filthy and we take in a stride thinking ..babies do that , that is part of their system and growing up.Most babies spit up milk out of their mouths or noses. This is because the sphincter at the top of the stomach is often loose. In otherwise healthy, happy babies who are growing well, the spit-up is mostly milk, rather than stomach acid, and nothing needs to be done.
Babies gaining at least 6 ounces a week and with wet diapers at least every 6 hours are usually growing well. On average, spitting up peaks at 4 months and is over by about 7 months of age, though it can take longer.
So spitting which is uncontrollable stars from a baby. But my concern is why does it continue with some people when other things like use of diapers, eating mashed bananas , eating semi solid food etc etc. changes with time and with the growth . why doesn't spitting stop why? Why cant adults leave their chidhood habits and not spit...

Akash mein udte mili barish ke badalo se,
Kuch guftagu ki , kuch iltiza ki
Kaha maine baadlo se ab bahoot hua ,
Baras bhi jao, narazagi kyon hai Dilli walo se ,
Dilli wale to sab dil wale hain , hum se dillagi kyon karte ho
Yahan hai bharat ki rajniti ka button jo hamesha 104 degree ke bukhar se tapta hai
Use thandi pattia dene wala to aaj tak mujhe mila nahi..
Shayad tumahara pani bhara haath kare kuch bukhar kam unka bhi
Aur hum jo janta hain unke bhukar ki tapan se kuch rahat paa saken............
Sari kripa Mumbai pe kyon?
Mumbai wale hairan pareshan hai dost
Kahin pani bhara hai, kahin gadi phansi hai,
Samudra ka gussa uchal uchal sadko tak as raha hai..
Raj Thakre ke shar mein garmi ka bukhar aur bhi jyada hai kaha badlo ne,
Aisi aag ugalte hain ki har saal thanda karne us aag ko mujhe itna barasana padta hai
Par sab nirarthak, MAIN BHI THAK GAYA HUN ...KAHA BADAL NE HAAR KE....
Par dilli pahunch dekha maine ki meri iltiza suni badalon ne aur kuch rahat di hamari dilli ko....
Shayad lok sabha ka bukhar kuch kam ho aur ubhare koi lok nayak...........manasvini m yogi

Are We What We Want to Be
If am a women of substance
I do not need ONE Womens Day
All 365 days are my days
If am a women of substance
I do not need any reservation in the parliament
I should fight my own battle and prove myself
Why to have 33% and join the safed posh corrupt gang of Netas(most of them are corrupt)
I want 50%
If am a women of substance
I dont need to fight with the partner to share the household and children work
thats my privelige
If am a women of substance
I can do anything and everything
But before all this is achieved let us at least first become WOMEN OF SUBSTANCE

Happiness Mantra
We convince ourselves that life will be better after
we get married, have a baby, then another.
Then we are frustrated that the kids aren't old enough
and we'll be more content when they are.
After that, we're frustrated that we have teenagers to deal with.
We will certainly be happy when they are out of that stage.
We tell ourselves that our life will be complete when our
spouse gets his or her act together, when we get a nicer
car, are able to go on a nice vacation, or when we retire.
The truth is, there's no better time to be happy than right now.
If not now, when? Your life will always be filled with challenges.
It's best to admit this to yourself and decide to be happy anyway.
Happiness is the way. So, treasure every moment that you have
and treasure it more because you shared it with someone special,
special enough to spend your time with...and remember that time
waits for no one.
So, stop waiting
--until your car or home is paid off
--until you get a new car or home
--until your kids leave the house--until you go back to school
--until you lose ten thousand rupees
--until you gain ten thousand rupees
--until you finish school
--until you get a divorce
--until you get married
--until you have kids
--until you retire
--until summer
--until spring
--until winter
--until fall
--until you die
There is no better time than RIGHT NOW to be happy.
Happiness is a JOURNEY, not a destination.
So -- work like you don't need money,
Love like you've never been hurt,
And dance like no one's watching
Live and let Live and be Happy…….manasvini m yogi
